Greetings to all! This is a blog to support my travels in Asia for 2012. I hope to get across that it is possible to have an amazing life of travel, and make it out with some semblance of reality. In the past I have sent out emails to close friends about my experiences, but I feel that this will open my life to people who need some inspiration to travel. The entire stretch took us 8 days in total. It is the most I have ever walked in one experience. We had an incredibly moving and hard time, but in the end, it was all worth it. What it provided for me, was a chance to see the difference of going from an urbanized city, into the forest. Dealing with 11 other personalities was also a challenge for me. Most of the people that came on the trip hadn’t even been backpacking before. But we all made it out. And I am sure we are all the better for it. I put this as a reminder to the power of simply walking, appreciating each and every inch of travel, without the use of fossil fuels.
