This is a blog to support my travels in Asia for 2012. I hope to get across that it is possible to have an amazing life of travel, and make it out with some semblance of reality. In the past I have sent out emails to close friends about my experiences, but I feel that this will open my life to people who need some inspiration to travel.

As far as I know, I am going to be posting as much as I possibly can. If you have any questions, or see something that you want more information about, please feel free to let me know. I’m also going to be looking for couches to sleep on, so maybe we can work something out. See yah out there!

Mindful Coyote Wanders

Back in July of this year, some acquaintances (most of the...

Back in July of this year, some acquaintances (most of the people I had just met) and I set off on a 100 mile journey to the international rainbow gathering. The entire stretch took us 8 days in total. It is the most I have ever walked in one experience. We had an incredibly moving and hard time, but in the end, it was all worth it. What it provided for me, was a chance to see the difference of going from an urbanized city, into the forest. Dealing with 11 other personalities was also a challenge for me. Most of the people that came on the trip hadn’t even been backpacking before. But we all made it out. And I am sure we are all the better for it. I put this as a reminder to the power of simply walking, appreciating each and every inch of travel, without the use of fossil fuels. It was a true gift that I will always remember.
